George Burrows began his love with live music in the 60's. Burrows attended Cream on October 14, 1968, at Vets Auditorium in Des Moines, IA. The first arena rock performance in Iowa. A year later Burrows attended The Denver Pop Festival and became a part of musical history. The Jimi Hendrix Experience broke up at Mile High Stadium, just after playing the Denver Pop Festival on June 29, 1969.
Throughout the 70's into the 90's Burrows continued to get deeper into the concert scene. At each concert, Burrows could be found engrossed in observing the pre-show stage, setup and meeting people associated with the events.
Burrows has become friends/colleagues with many people in the music industry.
His 30-year fascination with live music eventually led to concert photography. Burrows started his Live Music website in 2006.
In 2017 Burrows added his passion for drumming with photography by launching a complementary website, Drummer Photographer.
